Dog Best Friend Poems

A True Friendship

A crumb from the donut
a piece of toast
that’s all it takes
no need to boast.
A scratch on the ear
a pat on the head
a quiet “good doggies”
no more said.
A walk in the park
a ride in the car
no need to go fast
no need to go far.
Always there
happy and content
a tried and true friendship
no need to invent.

When I needed a hand I found your paw.

The better I get know men, the more I find myself loving dogs. – Charles de Gaulle

Dogs come Into our lives to teach us about love, they depart to teach us about loss. A new dog never replaces an old dog, It merely expands the heart.

No one can truly understand why dogs are called “man’s best friend” until they have experienced the loss of one.

True at Heart My friend you are so true at heart. Our friendship is so strong. That no can make us apart, You are my best friend. my true buddy, with you In my life, I feel no fear, thank you my friend my dear!
