Movies That A Taurean Can Watch During His Birthday Month

by Neal Bricker on

All Taureans, assemble! Since this is your birthday month, we thought of helping you make it special. Of course, no one is advising you to go out of your homes and hang out with your pals, so let’s get this discussion out of our way.

There are many other ways you can make your birthday special: you could video call your BFFs, partially to check on them, and mostly to let them know what presents you are expecting them to give you once the lockdown is up. Or you can hop into your movie jammies and stream a few movies that will make your inner Taurus very happy.

So, before we get onto that, let’s talk about some things that you will need. For starters, a good cable TV service such as Spectrum TV  that gives you all the entertainment options in one package and also a high-speed internet to stream movies.

As far as we know, Taureans love movies that are anointed with jewels of aesthetically done cinematography, powerful scripts, and a story that they can remember for the rest of their lives. So, let’s not wait further and get right to the movies Taureans should be streaming right now:

The Great Gatsby (2013)

Great-Gatsby

The Great Gatsby is based on a novel of the same name, written by F. Scott Fitzgerald. The movie helms around Nick Carraway, played by Tobey Macguire, who is a writer and a wall-street trader. He arrives in New York in 1922 to live his American dream and moves next door to Jack Gatsby, a millionaire. Eventually, Nick finds himself drawn into the world of riches, but soon he realizes that they are just their illusions and deceits, which leads him to write his own tragic story of love and dreams.

The Notebook (2004)

The-Notebook

The Notebook is another adaptation of the novel by Nicholas Sparks. With acting endeavors from Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams, the art direction and story would take you back in the 1940s. The story revolves around an old resident of a nursing home, who is telling his fellow resident a tale of love, tragedy, and hatred. Just to give you a heads up, be ready for all the water-works if you haven’t watched the movie already.

The Shawshank Redemption (1994)

The-Shawshank-Redemption

Shawshank Redemption is a masterpiece written and directed by Frank Darabont. Taurus or not, this movie requires no specific reason to be a favorite. With acting endeavors from Morgan Freeman, Rita Hayworth, James Whitmore, and others, The Shawshank Redemption revolves around the story of a banker, Andy Dufresne, who gets a life sentence in Shawshank Prison, based on wrong claims.

Top Gun (1986)

Top-Gun

Tom Cruise starrer, Top Gun is probably one of those movies, which still have the same fan-following as any freshly released movie would have. Tom Cruise plays the role of a young Naval pilot, Lieutenant Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell, who soon makes a lot of enemies instead of friends at the Navy’s Fighter Weapons School. Maverick soon finds himself against a number of pilots, and now he has to prove to himself and as well as his beautiful flight instructor, Charlotte Blackwood that he is the best.

Moulin Rouge! (2001)

Moulin-Rouge

Moulin Rouge is another work of art from Baz Luhrmann with Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor in the lead. The plot helms around an English poet, Christian, who falls for a beautiful Moulin Rouge star, Satine. If we talk about this movie’s art direction, then it will blow your mind is the least we can say. This musical managed to bag 8 nominations at the 74th Academy Awards, given that the story and acting were truly one of a kind.

Celebrate Your Taurus-ness

So, all of you Taureans out there, get your birthday cake and your family members (the ones you’re quarantining with only), and watch these movies to satiate your Taurus-ness. It’s not like the list above is exhaustive because these are just some movies that Taureans are more likely to enjoy. Maybe their preferences are similar to the ones with other zodiac signs, who knows?

Celebrating birthdays by watching movies sounds like an unusual activity, and who knows how far you’re from going completely bonkers over this state of lockdown. So, follow the rules, stay at home, and enjoy your time in solitude.
