Wearable Pet Heads Become Available, Fun Or Scary?

by Hanna Embry on

A Japanese company has started selling wearable pet heads and I don’t know whether we should laugh or cry!

We’ll let you decide.

Any dog or cat owner will tell you how precious their pet is to them. Truly, our animals become a part of the family and something we adore.

However, would those pet owners want to dress up like their cat or dog? One Japanese company thinks they might and has created a hilarious new product.

Creative planning office Shindo Rinka and modeling company workshop 91 have created wearable replica heads of pets. For example, you can get a replica face of your dog that you can actually wear on your head.

What Are Wearable Pet Heads?

This is obviously a funny product, but its also bonkers. Not least because the masks are very life-like and look just like the pet they have been based on. Some people on social media say they are terrifying, while others think they are funny and cute.

I am not entirely sure when you would wear this mask. Maybe just around the house for some fun?

Either way, the wearable masks are available now. Customers must enter their details with a quality photo of their pet. As you can see in the images and video, the results are breathtakingly accurate.

However, the masks are not cheap at 300,000 JPY (around $2,700). So, these are not a little thing you buy as a joke. Still, if you want to impress people with an incredibly real looking animal mask, they are a fun product.

I personally find the whole thing hilarious and can’t think why anyone would want to do it. That said, it’s the kind of classic product you would expect to see come from Japan, which is one of the reasons I love the place!

What do you folks think, are these wearable pet heads funny or terrifying? Leave your comments below.
